The CB system is a set of global mutual recognition system for electrical products established by IECEE, and a total of 55 certification bodies in 49 countries and more than 130 CB laboratories under them participate in this mutual recognition system. The member countries include the United States, Japan, South Korea, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Singapore, Canada and other major exporters of China’s mechanical and electrical products. The Catarc Guangzhou has officially become DEKRA’s CB certified laboratory in China, which is an important milestone for Catarc Guangzhou in the field of new energy vehicle batteries and electromagnetic compatibility. This achievement not only reflects Catarc Guangzhou’s professional ability and technical strength in the field of new energy vehicles, but also marks an important breakthrough in international standardization. This achievement will further promote the internationalization service process of Catarc Guangzhou and continue to enhance the competitiveness of Catarc Guangzhou in the international market.

The test site of the Catarc Guangzhou has passed the professional audit of TÜV SÜD, which strongly proves that the test pavement of the Catarc Guangzhou not only meets the technical requirements of ISO 10844:2014 in terms of key index parameters such as sound absorption coefficient, flatness, structural depth and slope, but also meets the technical requirements of the pass-by noise test pavement in noise regulations such as UNECE R51.02 method B, UNECE R51.03 and UNECE R117.03. This marks the use of the test site pavement for TÜV SÜD type approval witness testing of the relevant ECE noise regulations mentioned above. In the future, the two parties will fully rely on their resource advantages in terms of professional skills and forward-looking experience to carry out in-depth cooperation on high-quality technology projects and jointly enhance the international influence of Chinese auto brands.

The laboratory accreditation certificate issued by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is based on the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 ＂General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories＂ (CNAS-CL01 ＂Accreditation Criteria for Testing and Calibration Laboratories＂) for the accreditation of Catarc Guangzhou. This accreditation means that the Catarc Guangzhou has been officially recognized as a laboratory with ISO 17025:2017 testing capabilities. Testing institutions with internationally recognized qualifications are more likely to attract customers in international business, and the reports presented by automobile testing institutions that have obtained CNAS certificates have higher authority and credibility. Obtaining the CNAS certificate will not only help catarc guangzhou expand the international market, but also help attract more international customers and enhance the international competitiveness of the enterprise.

The majority of traffic accidents are caused by drivers who are distracted, fatigued and drowsy. In order to reduce the rate of traffic accidents, the European EU Regulation 2019/2144 has made it clear that the whole vehicle needs to be fitted with a DDAW. DDAW is a system that can assess whether the driver is awake by monitoring the driver’s driving time or analysing the driver’s steering wheel behaviour, and can warn the driver. The test currently conducted by the Catarc Guangzhou is not simply monitoring the driver’s facial expression directly through the camera to determine whether the driver is fatigued or not. Instead, it analyses the driver’s steering, braking and duration of driving time to indirectly determine whether the driver is fatigued, and we have become the first testing institution in China to conduct this test.

Catarc Guangzhou has obtained all environmental protection and 3C qualifications, and can complete all the test items required for parallel imported vehicles, including but not limited to 3C certification, environmental information disclosure and consistency certification. Since the beginning of 2023, the Catarc Guangzhou has been equipped with the business capacity of certification and sampling inspection of all parallel imported vehicles; Up to now, the Catarc Guangzhou has completed a number of parallel import sampling test projects in Nansha Port.

In this project,Catarc Guangzhou for the first time directly connected with BYD's eCall outsourcing certification needs, according to the United Arab Emirates standard (AE. S 5019:2018), and successfully completed all trial projects on schedule. In the follow-up test, the eCall team of Catarc Guangzhou also fully cooperated with the customer to overcome the risks, and successfully met the non-standard requirements added by BYD in eCall in order to improve Euro NCAP results while the normal certification test, that is, the MSD should include the number of occupants and the location of the nearest vehicle (N1, N2). This shows the depth of Catarc Guangzhou’s understanding of international standards, as well as the depth of technical research and the professionalism of customer service.
