■The Collision Test Research Department includes three major business sectors: real vehicle collision, sliding platform collision, and pedestrian protection. It mainly engages in research on new testing technologies such as passive safety testing and active passive fusion in the automotive industry. It has the ability to cover global automotive collision safety, pedestrian protection standards and regulations, as well as mainstream new vehicle evaluation regulations (NCAP) research and development testing. ■The laboratory has advanced collision testing equipment in the industry, covering traction systems, simulated collision systems, pedestrian protection systems, data acquisition systems, camera systems, lighting systems, and collision dummies. And equipped with infrastructure such as dummy calibration room, vehicle confidentiality preparation room, measurement platform, general tool warehouse, sensor dedicated warehouse, constant temperature and humidity air conditioning room, mobile insulation room, and sample storage area, to support the good operation of the laboratory and ensure accurate test results. ■The laboratory has been recognized by CNAS and CMA, with announcement, CCC, and operational qualifications. Relying on internationally leading testing equipment, professional testing teams, and comprehensive system guarantees, it can provide enterprises with automotive inspection, CCC, export certification, NCAP research and development, RCAR research and development, ECU calibration, as well as customized technical services for vehicle collision, slide collision, and pedestrian protection testing.

Vehicle collision

■The vehicle collision laboratory covers the area of more than 6000m2. It has a 230-meter-long traction track with the maximum traction speed of 120km/h, a set of 360°rotating indoor mobile barrier, a set of outdoor collision fixed barrier, an advanced non-stroboscopic lighting system, 2 bottom camera foundation pits, 8 vehicle confidential preparation rooms, and a set of vehicle static flipping platform,4 post-collision new energy vehicle static platforms and many sets of high-definition cameras and data acquisition devices.Two vehicle collision tests can be prepared to carry out at the same time with the report of hardware facilities.
■The vehicle crash test capability covers global crash standards and regulations and Euro/ASEAN/LATIN/US New Car Assessment Programme.100% frontal rigid barrier collision, 40% offset collision, 25% offset collision, MPDB car-to-car collision, lateral collision, side-pole collision, center-pole collision, rear-end collision,low speed collision,new energy vehicle battery pack bottom crash, indoor error effect tests,EDR crash test,ECALL verification and other collision forms can be carried out.Additionally, it has the ability to carry out collision safety research and development tests of other types of vehicles such as new energy buses and N1 trucks.

Slide collision(simulated collision)

■The sliding platform collision laboratory covers the area of 1980m2,with a total length of 110 meters,width of 18 meters, it has a set of the world's advanced high-precision hydraulic servo acceleration trolley,of which thrust can reach 2.75MN and acceleration up to 105g. The slide collision test capability covers various global standards and regulations and Euro/ASEAN/LATIN New Car Assessment Programme for automotive component level crash testing.Besides,it is equipped with a set of tooling quick disassembly system,which can effectively deal with new energy components test such as battery pack fire and other emergency situations.
■The slide collision test capability covers announcement access,3C mandatory inspection, export certification and commissioned research and development test. Door lock resistance inertia force, dynamic internal fittings, luggage impact,dynamic test of veichle seat and school bus seat strength, cylinder strength, battery pack impact and other mandatory inspection project can be carried out.Additionally,component evaluation projects of Euro/ASEAN/LATIN New Car Assessment Programme such as whiplash test, knee mapping and farside remote airbag evaluation project,other unconventional test project such as restraint system matching,seat forward backward impact, seat anti-diving, luggage rack impact, fuel tank impact, high-speed rail seat strength, flying car seat strength can also be carried out.

Pedestrian protection

■The pedestrian protection laboratory covers the area of 400m2, with a set of industry-advanced main impact equipment,high-speed camera system and high-precision visual three-coordinate positioning system.
■The pedestrian protection test capability covers UN R127,Euro New Car Assessment Programme,including adult headform, child headform, flexible legform, TRL legform, aPLI leg form tests.The static energy absorption,internal fittings and steering column injury to the driver test of UN R21,passenger anti-throw test of FMVSS 226, side air curtain pressure retention research and development test of NCAP can also be carried out. With a variety of self-developed test equipment facilities, it can meet a variety of pedestrian protection research and component development requirements, the cooperation service customers basically cover the automobile enterprises in South China.
